Emergencies are not taken by COHVC due to the limitations of the equipment that I keep with me. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet or need after-hours care, please call the Emergency & Specialty Animal Care at 205-967-7389 or Alabama Veterinary Specialists at 205-481-1001.
We provide preventive care for your pet in the form of vaccinations, heartworm and flea preventatives, and internal parasite control. Medical care and maintenance is also provided for more chronic health problems such as diabetes, allergies, and heart disease. No surgeries, dentals, or any procedures that require sedation can be done.

In accordance with State Law, COHVC is associated with Galleria Animal Clinic, LLC at 2953 John Hawkins Pkwy, Hoover, AL...205-987-7297. Dr. Allen Borden and Dr. Nicki Williams can provide the services your pet may need that I may not be able to provide. You do not have to use this clinic if I can't provide the services your pet needs, but this would be the clinic that I would refer you to.
