At Comforts of Home Vet Care, PC, we put the health of the pets in our Birmingham community first. To best serve pet owners, we offer Express Wellness Clinics every Monday through Thursday at rotating locations in Birmingham and the surrounding cities. We also offer it the first Saturday of every month, weather permitting. These events are a great way to keep your pet healthy and happy.

Please note that Dr. Walker is required to perform a wellness exam on every patient he sees at these events so that he can establish a valid Veterinarian-Patient-Client-Relationship. This allows you to order prescription medications or for Dr. Walker to prescribe them for your pets.

At our Express Wellness Clinics, we provide everything from core vaccinations and microchip implantation for cats and dogs as well as heartworm testing for your canine friends. You’ll find the prices for each of these services below.

Effective July 1st 2022, the following prices will increase: Dogs: DA2PCPV $20, Bordetella (Kennel Cough) $14, Heartworm Test $20 Feline: FVRCP $20, FeLV $25. Rabies vaccines for both dogs and cats Rabies 1 year $13 and Rabies 3 year $28. Annual Exam with vaccines $14 and Exam without vaccines $20.

***Please Note*** Our low cost vaccine clinics, by Alabama state law, must be conducted outside, so it is weather-permitting. The only reason we may cancel the clinic will be RAIN or EXTREME COLD. We do have canopies to help our volunteers and pets stay out of the direct sunlight as much as possible. If we are rained out, we may conduct the clinic the 2nd Saturday of the month.
